Mark is an award-winning Montreal based cake designer. He has always enjoyed cooking and baking. Some of his sweetest memories are of baking holiday goodies with his Grandma when she would visit for Christmas. Although mostly self taught, Mark has learned from many of the biggest and best artists in the industry.
Specializing in Wedding Cakes, he strives to make his clients' cake dreams a reality! Every creation is scratch baked using the freshest ingredients available, and as many edible decorations as possible. He is most passionate about making Hand-Crafted Sugar Flowers - with a focus on creating as realistic looking flowers as he can possibly create in sugar.
Mark also enjoys teaching his craft. He has traveled within Canada and beyond to share his love of sugar, and has also had tutorials published in International magazines. Recently , Mark has launched an instructional DVD, "Timeless Wedding Flowers". Mark has been featured in International magazines like Edible Artist's Network and Today's Bride. When not working on creating dream cakes or teaching, he can be found securing sponsors for the Canadian Cake Decorators Guild. Not only is he their sponsorship coordinator, but is also the administrator for the South Shore Montreal chapter.
