The Sugar Art, Inc. is the creator of the original Cosmic Dust, Sterling Flakes, Elite Color™, and Sterling Pearl collections. Our colors are rich and vibrant, and versatile with many mediums. Our Elite Color™, and Sterling Pearl  are the best in cake decorating. They can be used with isomalt, chocolate, modeling chocolate, gumpaste, fondant, royal icing, and so much more!


The history of our product begins with one woman’s desire to learn how to make art out of sugar. Original founder, Elzbieta Frys, is where it all began. Being steadfast in her craft, Elzbieta’s skills grew and she quickly became a well-respected cake decorator. The Frys family followed suit, with Edward and Tony both succeeding in their own right. Edward was featured on The Food Network’s Extreme Cake Challenge in 2008 and Tony in TLC’s The Next Great Baker Season 2 in 2011. Edward has won several awards in cake shows across the country, specializing in full-structure cakes.


In reaching this level of skill, we understand what cake decorators need in creating beautiful confection. The Sugar Art has quickly become the standard by which all other colors are measured.
