What is Wedding Gold luster dust?
Wedding Gold is an edible gold luster dust that gives cakes, cookies and chocolate a warm metallic finish. It is a mica-based pearlescent powder with FD&C colorings, applied dry for a soft sheen or mixed into a paint for detail. Made in the USA, FDA compliant and Kosher certified.
How do you use luster dust on cookies?
Work on royal icing that has dried completely. Brush the powder on dry for an even sheen across the surface, or mix a small amount with a clear high-proof alcohol or lemon extract to paint fine detail. Wedding Gold can be applied both ways on the same cookie.
Can you use luster dust on chocolate?
Yes. Luster dust brushes onto chocolate that has fully set, giving truffles, bark and molded pieces a metallic finish. Apply it dry with a soft brush once the chocolate is cool and firm, so the surface does not mark under the bristles. Wedding Gold is used on chocolate as well as cakes and cookies.
Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Yellow 5, Red 40, Rice Extract, Red 3, Blue 1, Yellow 6

Love this color will use for all my gold trim
Beautiful gold for my macarons!
My favorite rich gold to use for painting with or adding some subtle sparkle to the top of my cakes or cookies. This really pops when mixed into a paint and used on fondant, or to add glowing highlights to piped and set American buttercream roses or meringue kisses.
Nice color
Used this luster dust on a recent order and it was beautiful! Can’t wait to use it again!
